Tommy Fury was booed by fans at Wembley Stadium in his first public appearance since his split from Molly-Hae Hague.

After five years together having initially met on ITV show Love Island, Molly-Mae announced that she had split from Fury in August.

Molly-Mae, who has a one-year-old daughter named Bambi with Fury, wrote on Instagram: ‘After five years of being together, I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end.’

Fury has yet to open up on the reasons behind their split but the 25-year-old was seen at a public event for the first time since the bombshell announcement in August as he was at Wembley to watch Anthony Joshua’s fight against Daniel Dubois on Saturday evening.

However, when the television camera panned to Fury, fans inside Wembley began to boo when they saw him on the big screen.

Fury initially smiled, waved and pretended to throw punches but when he heard the jeers from the crowd he cupped his ear.

When asked what has been happening in his life at a Q&A session at Box Park Wembley on Saturday, Fury replied: ‘Quite a lot to be honest… a lot’s been happening, some good, some bad, but media is going to be the media at the end of the day.

‘But let’s talk some boxing. I’m excited to be at Wembley and I think it’s going to be a great night of boxing. I’m looking forward to every single fight on the card and I think there’s going to be some explosive fights going on.

I’m a fighter at the end of the day. All the other stuff on the side is stuff I’ve picked up through life but I’ve spent my whole entire life being a fighter so that’s what I want to do and get back to.’

Asked who he wants to fight next, Fury replied: ‘Anybody.

‘The obvious ones are out there that everybody knows. I do want to fight a proper fighter, I don’t want to mess around with all these idiots.

‘I want to get back in the ring and perfect the craft properly and get some more fights going.’
