Emmerdale is set to say goodbye to two major stars in the coming weeks, as Lewis Cope and Brahmdeo Shannon are leaving their roles as Nicky Miligan and Suni Sharma.
The actors have already filmed their final scenes and their exits will air this summer.
Lewis made his first appearance in the Dales as Nicky back in December 2022, when his character was brought in as a childminder working at Home Farm for Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) and Dawn Fletcher’s (Olivia Bromley) children.
However, a shocking twist later revealed he was actually the son of Caleb Miligan (William Ash), and was plotting revenge against Kim Tate (Claire King).
Brahmdeo joined the Emmerdale cast last summer, with Suni introduced as the cousin of Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson), but it was later revealed that the two were actually half-brothers.
Nicky and Suni soon embarked upon a relationship upon the latter’s arrival in the village, and recent scenes have seen Nicky struggling to cope with his mother Ruby’s (Beth Cordingly) role in Ethan Anderson’s (Emile John) death.
As reported in The Sun, fans will see the exit scenes in just weeks.
The story will see Nicky ask Suni to leave Emmerdale together, as he seeks to distance himself from his family in the wake of Ethan’s death.
But will they get their happy ending, or will something tear them apart before they see through their plans?
