Vice President Kamala Harris drops F-bomb advising young people

Vice President Kamala Harris dropped the F-bomb while giving advice to young people about breaking barriers.

Harris was speaking at the annual Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies Legislative Leadership Summit in Washington, DC, when she uttered the expletive.

‘We have to know that sometimes people will open the door for you and leave it open,’ said Harris on Monday.

‘Sometimes they won’t, and then you need to kick that f***ing door down.’

The crowd broke out in cheers, and Harris laughed.

‘Excuse my language,’ she added, continuing to laugh.

The moderator, actor and comedian Jimmy Yang, said: ‘We gotta make T-shirts with that saying.’

Harris, who is the country’s first Asian-American and African-American vice president, delivered remarks in light of May being Asian-American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander month.

‘Here’s the thing about breaking barriers. Breaking barriers does not mean you start on one side of the barrier and you end up on the other side,’ Harris said.

‘There’s breaking involved, and when you break things you get cut. And you may bleed. And it is worth it every time.’

Harris and President Joe Biden are also slated to speak on the heritage month on Tuesday evening at the White House.
