Nollywood actress and upcoming filmmaker Bimbo Ademoye has hit a huge milestone on YouTube and can’t keep calm.
The movie star, who has been teasing her latest project, Last Straw, which featured Timini and Shaffy Bello, has been left emotional after hitting 2.4 million views in just one day. Taking to her Instagram page, Bimbo expressed gratitude to her Maker and her fanmily as she questioned what she had done to deserve such love from them, as she isn’t the perfect filmmaker.
She urged her fans not to leave her as she noted how overwhelmed she is by their love and positivity.
“2.4 MILLION VIEWS IN 1 DAY AND SOME HOURS!!. DEAR GOD!! THANK YOU. DEAR CYBER FAMILY! WHAT HAVE I DONE TO DESERVE YOU?. WHAT EXACTLY. I’M NOWHERE NEAR THE BEST FILM-MAKER; I’M NOWHERE NEAR PERFECT. PLEASE DON’T LEAVE ME OOO. THIS YOUR LOVE FOR ME IS TOOOO SWEET ABEG. KILODE!!. NO NEGATIVITY, NO INSULTS, NO TROLLS, JUST A GROUP OF AMAZING, HARDWORKING PEOPLE WHO JUST WANT TO SEE ME WIN. HOW ON EARTH DID I GET SO LUCKY? HOW!!!! IT IS WELL. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU
LAST STRAW STILL SHOWING ON BIMBOADEMOYETV ON YOUTUBE. PLS DRAG EVERYONE YOU KNOW TO GO AND WATCH IT. I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH”.
This good news came months after Bimbo lamented bitterly about the low views she got on YouTube from a certain movie, and in less than twenty-four hours, her fans showed up for her, streaming in thousands.
This isn’t the first time Bimbo has appreciated her fans’ support for her and her brand. When she released her movie Unexpected Places, featuring Timini, she burst into tears while appreciating her fans for helping her achieve 2.5 million views in two days. Bimbo thanked God for not putting her to shame and giving her fans who adore and support her. She appreciated her crew and her mother, Uduak Isong, for the continued guidance.
Bimbo has undoubtedly come a long way in the industry. The movie star, during her early career days, was almost taken advantage of by movie producers.
Bimbo made this known in her interview as she recounted how movie producers wanted to take advantage of her curvy physique and stereotype her to s3xual roles during the early stages of her career. The movie star finally got her big break when award-winning filmmaker Uduak Isong gave her the first opportunity to showcase her talent, and since then, her career has skyrocketed.
