Venom: The Last Dance’s Streaming Release Will Align With Sony’s Netflix Plan
Regarding streaming, Venom: The Last Dance‘s release on platforms is somewhat easy to predict. Starting in 2022, Sony Pictures and Netflix have a deal for the latter to show all movies theatrically released by the former for streaming before any other competitors. The most recent Sony Spider-Man Universe movie was Madame Web, released in February 2024. Three months later in May 2024, Madame Web was released on Netflix, later set to release on Disney+ after Netflix’s initially agreed term is up.
With this deal in mind, Venom: The Last Dance‘s streaming release date can be estimated. With Venom 3 releasing in theaters on October 25, 2024, it is likely the film will hit Netflix in January 2025. This will give the film enough time to run its course in theaters while matching the terms struck between Netflix and Sony Pictures.
