The truth is outed in EastEnders next week ahead of Whitney Dean’s (Shona McGarty) dramatic exit.
Whitney’s chance of happiness has been slowly spiralling ever since her fiancée Zack Hudson (James Farrar) found out that she had used savings for their unborn baby to buy custody of troubled teen Britney Wainwright (Lola Campbell), a girl from Bianca Jackson’s (Patsy Palmer) estate.
In retaliation, he headed to Peggy’s to drown his sorrows and ran into Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) – and slept with her!
It wasn’t long before Bianca found out and threatened to expose the fling, but was thrown when Whitney proposed to Zack.
This week, at their joint stag and hen do, things take a horrific turn when the women end up locked in Bianca’s taco van, and Whit goes into labour…
Explaining how Lauren feels in the heat of the moment, actress Jacqueline said: ‘There are so many different thoughts going through her mind. The first is that she has to try to keep Whitney calm, and the second is that they need to get out of there because they don’t want Whitney to have a baby in a taco van.
‘There’s also the horrible thought that she might deliver Whitney’s baby, having slept with her fiancé. But ultimately, all she cares about is Whitney and the baby’s safety.’
However, luckily, it all seems to go well!
In upcoming scenes, having given birth to baby Dolly, the couple seem to be on cloud nine, but it’s short-lived when Zack has to return home and beg Britney to keep quiet about the affair.
We know from the past that Britney isn’t the best at keeping schtum, as she was the one who told Zack that Whitney had bought her.
Back at the flat, Whitney worries about her foster daughter’s behaviour and believes she’s taken badly to Dolly’s arrival. Then, realising that the wedding hasn’t been cancelled, she decides to seize the day and get married as planned.
Whilst she gets ready, Lauren calls over and the two have a guilt ridden heart to heart.
Meanwhile, Lily Slater (Lillia Turner) talks to Britney about Whitney’s previous failed relationships, and the youngster is given food for thought and contemplates whether or not to keep Zack’s secret.

As the bride walks down the aisle, Dolly in her arms, Britney joins the ‘happy’ couple at the alter and can’t help but expose everything.
Whitney reels at the revelation, but knowing her troubled upbringing, will she believe her?
Later in the week, Lauren has a drink with her cousin Penny (Kitty Castledine) and are met with disgusted looks from the Albert Square residents and a tense face off with Bianca.
Elsewhere, Whitney visits Zack to register Dolly’s birth when Peach’s baby loss certificate arrives in the post.
Viewers of the BBC One soap will remember that they lost daughter Peach in March of last year when she discovered that she had Edwards syndrome.
Making the tough decision to terminate the pregnancy, they scattered her ashes at the allotments.
Will memories of Peach help the couple to reconcile?
