A woman suffered almost instant karma for randomly slapping a child in the face as she walked past her in the street.
Shocking CCTV footage captured the moment the culprit targeted a young girl who was casually strolling along a pavement with her mother.
The attacker, dressed in pink, is seen walking in the opposite direction towards the mum and her daughter before striking the youngster with a blow to the head.
For no apparent reason, she stretches out her left arm and smacks the girl as they pass each other in Brazil.
Furious at the random assault, the girl’s mother immediately moves towards the woman who swings her arms, but is pulled back by her stunned daughter.
Just four seconds later, the perpetrator suffered retribution.
A man appears in shot running towards the attacker and then dropkicks her in the midriff, sending her flying to the ground.
He quickly delivers three more strong kicks to the woman as she lay on the floor – and then a fourth which narrowly misses.
The woman gingerly stumbles back to her feet before walking away just as two other members of the public arrive on the scene.
The young girl’s mother can be seen comforting her daughter after the unprovoked attack in broad daylight.
People on social media were quick to defend the man’s actions and praised him for coming to the aid of the mum and child, reports MailOnline.
One said ‘that was appropriate’, while another claimed the attacker ‘got what she deserves’.
Earlier today, terrifying footage emerged of the moment a pram carrying a three-month-old was clipped by a train at a platform.
