X Factor star Jake Quickenden and his wife have shared the exciting news that their family is expanding.
The reality TV star – who has also appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and won Dancing On Ice – made the emotional announcement after ‘a long time trying’.
With a tearful video, Jake and Sophie – who married in 2022 – told his thousands of followers that they have baby number 2 on the way.
Jake and Sophie are already parents to three-year-old son Leo, as well as Sophie’s son Freddie from a previous relationship.
The singer, 35 – who rose to prominence on The X Factor in 2012 – took to Instagram, writing in his caption: ‘WE HAVE NEWS…. soon to be five.
‘We can finally let you know after a long time trying we are gonna bring another bundle of joy into the world 🌍.
‘We are super excited. Can’t wait to live off 2 hours sleep again 😂. Have a lovely Sunday ❤️ ‘, he added.
Jake’s video documented the moment Sophie told him that she was pregnant again, his face a picture as he put his head in his hands, stunned.
Further clips captured him telling his parents the joyous news, both of whom rushed to hug the adorable couple.
Jake and Sophie were also seen sitting with their kids on the sofa, holding the ultrasound scan, beaming smiles on their faces and tears in their eyes.
The video ended with the parents-to-be cutting into a cake to reveal the sex of their baby but cut off before it could be shared whether they were having a boy or a girl, teasing that a full gender reveal is on the way.
After they shared their announcement, fans and famous pals flocked to the comments to express their happiness.

Jake and Sophie’s baby joy comes after the ex-footballer spoke about fatherhood and their plans to have more children.
He told the Daily Star in October 2022: ‘We are trying for another one. It is the easiest decision ever. We definitely want one more.
‘Our family already feels complete, but we’d love one more. We would love a little girl. That would be the icing on the cake.’
‘But as long as the baby was healthy, that’s all that matters,’ he added. ‘Whatever we had, we’d be happy.’
Jake has also spoken candidly about parenting Leo, telling Entertainment Daily that he and his wife are very much a team.
‘We do the whole baby thing together. We just try and support each other as much as possible. I think we’ve got a really strong relationship in that way.’
He added that it’s inevitable to encounter ‘hurdles’ and he expects to feel ‘worried about everything’ as a dad.
Jake and Sophie married in a stunning Ibiza ceremony two years ago after dating since 2018 and then getting engaged in Greece in August 2021.
