Fans may be surprised to learn that The Valley star, Daniel Booko, once appeared on the hit TV series, Hannah Montana. One of the best Disney Channel original TV shows ever, Hannah Montana wasn’t just an excellent teen sitcom, it also helped launch Miley Cyrus into becoming a major label star who is still producing Grammy-winning tracks a decade after the show ended in 2011. The series stars Cyrus as a fictional version of herself, Miley Stewart, a normal girl who is secretly Hannah Montana, a world-famous pop singer.
Most episodes find Miley, her father Robby Ray (Cyrus’ real-life father Billy Ray Cyrus), her brother Jackson (Jason Earles), and her best friend Lily (Emily Osment) trying to hide Miley’s real identity from prying fans and helping Miley balance life as a star and a normal high school girl. Plenty of famous guest stars have appeared on Hannah Montana, and some viewers may remember Daniel Booko’s appearance. One of the stars of the reality series The Valley, Booko has once again reentered the pop culture conversation, which means his old roles are becoming talking points.
Daniel Booko Played Stavros In A Hannah Montana Episode
Stavros Was A Minor Guest Character In Season 1
Daniel Booko appears in season 1, episode 21, “My Boyfriend’s Jackson and There’s Gonna Be Trouble” as Stavros. In this 2007 episode, Hannah is chased back to the Stewart’s where she’s photographed with Jackson. The pair pretend to be boyfriend and girlfriend, so no one can figure out Hannah’s real identity. Jackson enjoys his newfound celebrity status and when he’s brought to a party, he meets Stavros, another boyfriend of a celebrity, and he shows Jackson all the perks of fame. It’s a quick scene, but Booko has the right look and affectation for a shallow, popularity-seeking boyfriend.

There’s not one genre or particular medium Booko seems partial to, and he appears willing to take on just about any role. In an interview with WzraTv, Booko described how he broke into acting,
“I grew up doing theater… When I was in high school, I started doing it again my last two years and did a few community productions and really really fell in love with it. And then I went to school in Chicago for music… And I heard a thing on the radio that you hear on occasion about like a Talent Search… I said, ‘Hey, why not?’ so I went and checked it out and like went through the whole process and won in my category in that area. And then they flew us out to LA, the winners, to continue to compete, but it was also like a showcase. Like a lot of agents and managers are there, and then after it was done I met with about 15-16 different agents and managers all pretty much saying, ‘Look if you’re willing to move out here, we want to represent you. We think you’re really talented. You got a great look blah blah blah.’ And I went back to Chicago and decided to take the risk and maybe move out here in two years.”
Booko Is Most Famous For Starring In Vanderpump Rules Spinoff, The Valley
Daniel And Nia Booko Co-Star In The Reality Series
Despite his long history of performances, Booko is probably best known for playing himself in The Valley, the fourth spinoff to The Vanderpump Rules. The Valley follows five couples who have just begun to start families and are trying to balance their lives as they head toward adulthood. One of these couples is Booko and his wife, Nia.
The couple has three children, all under the age of 2, and most of their time on the show depicts them trying to grapple with the busy, and sometimes messy life, such a big family can bring. Daniel Booko has come a long way from playing a young man excited about being a celebrity boyfriend, to actually being a father, worrying about his family and future.
